India since my birth.!

"The only thing which remains constant in this world is CHANGE".

Making harmony with pace and consistency is an art which if acquired makes a difference in the growth and rise of a nation. For India it has been an onerous task in making changes in the society. For this there have been many mechanics, plumbers, electricians, architects etc. who were kept been elected by the natives of the world's second highest populated nation, to mend and for resolving the situation/condition. Some turned up to their level best but most of them proved the right meaning of "Hypocrisy" by their dialects and actions.

Whenever we talk about changes, there are some sets of differences that we see while we compare two states. While I was thinking the points that make this time overestimated and dominated over the time when I was born or say when I started understanding the world, then probably my thoughts got abort after a few points, and those few points are the radical changes.

The idea of writing is not to besmirch about the condition but just to put some light over the major issues over which every Indian is bewildering around.

Per-capita income in 1990-91 rose from Rs. 11,535 to Rs. 41,129 in 2010-11. Owning a Maruti-800 (Rs. 1.48 lakhs) was a middle class status symbol. Scooters like Bajaj and Lambretta accounted for more than half of the two-wheeler sold in the country. A bottle of cold-drink be it desi-versions like Gold-Spot or Thums up costed for Rs. 4.50.

Today we are guzzling colas, downloading songs on our i-pads and zipping in our sedan. The cola market has reached the height of Rs. 10,000 crores than just Rs. 200 crores in 1991. But, the difference doesn't shows any signs of positive changes in the nation. Along with the increase in the salary of a layman also increased the expenditure and its value.

For a sedan, we do not have good roads, which is pre-required than owning a high-end luxurious car. Prices of fuel are escalating like the gold rates. (Sometime I fear, my children would go to a jeweler to buy an unit of gas).

This is one phase of change. Another that comes to my mind is about the Indian politics. Where, Team-Anna since more than an year has been battling over an issue of Jan Lokpal Bill or Citizen's Ombudsman Bill where 80% of 1.21 billion people (Indian population) have already given the consent for the same, shows no sign of "CHANGE".

In Switzerland, if anybody finds 50,000 citizens signing a form demanding for a referendum within 3 months, a referendum must be held. In India 80% of 1.21 billion are already into suit the bill and still the Bosses of the nation are into obtuse and inane thoughts.

There was a time before Anna'a period of actions when I used to say that "IS DESH KA KUCH NAI HOSAKTA", but after Anna'a all of the actions, causes etc., I find myself in a state to again think and the sentence got modified to "YAR, SHAYAD AB KUCH HOSAKTA HAI".

The only line which I can remember now and which is strikingly very clear in my mind says:
"ALONG WITH AUSTERITY COMES PROSPERITY"...

Well that's all for today hope I keep continuing blogging and posting. By the way, heartiest congratulations to our very own former Finance Minister- Pranab dada!

    1. Sir, I am really glad that you took some time to read my blog. I am working on another and hope that I post that soon.
I really feel anguished as well very ignominious after some of the brutal acts which have taken place in some parts of our "Diverse" nation. Well, I agree with the outspoken nature of today's time but it will certify into use only if it results into something positive.
I hope WE THE PEOPLE OF INDIA maintain the grace and Sophistication of THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA.!

      JAI HIND.!
